Betafork Blues is out!
Y'all. I can't believe it. When I first started working on Future.Shock some four-odd years ago, I didn't think it would be such a journey to get this far. The game has gone through several complete overhauls and remakes, switching dice systems and core mechanics several times. While other games have drawn my attention from time to time, this game has always been in the back of my mind, wanting - nay, demanding - to be finished.
And now, it's here. The beginning of it, at least. There's plenty more of Future.Shock to come (see Book 3: Instantiation on the roadmap for more details) but this should at least be enough for you all to begin to explore this world and what it's all about. I know you've been patient. I know I've had to set the timeline back a bit to account for a life that got a bit too busy for me to handle. But it's here now, at least.
I hope you like it. Let me know how you feel. I need some rest.
